What a wonderful show! Rain-slicked leaves and battered blossoms and ugly ducklings waiting to hatch.
Did you film that? It’s beautiful. Never seen a swan’s nest. Never even conceived of one. Now I won’t be able to get it out of my mind.
lovely – growing up we called the fruit of the chestnut tree a conker (kon-ka)
amazing. how close were you able to get? swans are extremely aggressive around their nests and young.
