I spent one of the better nights of my life dancing on the beach in Monterosso. Did the whole hike too -- did you?

Having visited 'cinque terre' a three years ago, I find your trip eqaully charmed and magical. We walked 4 of the 5 mountain paths linking the various cinque terre villages. Breath-taking views and great sandwiches stuffed witn veal or mortadella & cheese and taste slices of pizza. We stayed in Sestre Levanti a lovely seaside town full of holidaying Milanese. Here we ate a divine meal of pesto & pasta, and bits of fish, drank the local frothy, bubblely white and wandered the ancient streets happy as calms.
