We left a Jay feather for the Buddha hidden under the bridge in the Forest of Nisene Marks. This was the epicenter of the Loma Prieta earthquake–we lived less than ten miles from it at the time. Today we had a birthday walk for La Noria, and Jessica collected many chanterelles. Lovely.
