After a month away, home again. Immediate need to greet the silvery sea. The Camera Obscura built in 1946 and pictured above is the last remaining structure from Playland-at-the-Beach. Below, the view from the CO from Life Magazine, 1954. I feel the ghosts of my novel’s heroine and my own past out here.
