We drove ten hours down the Adriatic coast toward Puglia. Lunch break in Senigallia, the seaside town of A’s childhood, was to be much-anticipated pesce at Uliassi, a 3 stelle michelin joint we’d been to some years back (then earnestly presented with “monkeyfish!” by a waiter happy to practice his english).

Alas, we’d made no reservations, and this time were turned away, pronto. We found a far more lively spot (hosting multiple octogenarian birthdays), also auspiciously named (given the Aries full moon soon to come). Fritto misto for now, serious fish to come…

Then it was back on the road: No! Sleep! Till Puglia! Moonrise was fat and orange. By the time we got apartment keys, we were too.
